Current Crew

Hello everyone and welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog!

What is the Stamp Review Crew and how was it born? We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world that features one stamp set every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. The Stamp Review Crew idea originally came about from Tanya Boser. She had hoped that someone would feature one stamp set and share multiple samples using just that one stamp set. She had a brilliant idea! Tanya started thing about the fabulous stampers she had seen out in the blog-o-sphere and started contacting people to see if there was any interest. And boy-howdy, was there some interest! She had originally thought to have about 10-15 stampers, so sge invited people as you would for a party, twice as many people as you want to attend, since half of the people invited would not accept. Well, of the 32 original people she invited, 22 accepted! And the rest is history 🙂 Below is some of the current members we are working on adding the rest of the crew with bios.

I have been a serious stamper since about 2005 and a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator since 2006. It is a hobby for me and I enjoy the therapy of paper crafting and the friends I have made along the way. I have been married to my sweetie since 1990, and we have 4 wonderful adult children and 1 grandson! They have left behind several fur-babies- 3 dogs and a now 10 year old rabbit. Who knew they lived so long?! I am also a full-time Emergency Department nurse, working crazy shifts, but hoping to someday see the light again, lol! I live in the frozen tundra of northern Minnesota. Tanya is currently taking a break.

Hi, I’m Kelly Kent – a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator from Australia. I live in the south west corner in a country town called Bunbury, with my husband (Mr Papercraft) and three mini Papercraft children. While the kids keep me very busy, and part-time work as a Speech Pathologist adds to the chaos of the week, stamping is the wonderful part of the week where I get to be creative and have some quiet time in my craft space (often much too late at night!). I love making all types of cards, but celebrating birthdays is my favourite! What’s not to love about the success of another trip around the sun!?! I love participating in Stamp Review Crew hops and seeing all the clever ways my stamping friends use the set.

I named my blog Kitty Stamp in honor of all the wonderful kitties I have had the fun of knowing.   I grew up on farm in rural Michigan and I always had an abundance of cats (among lots of other animals).    I began stamping 13 years ago and am still amazed just how much fun it is!    I also enjoy quilting and I find that my quilting often inspires some of my stamping ideas.   I live in Michigan with my husband and we have three grown children.   We enjoy cruising quiet country roads in our 1970 Chevy pickup.

I’m Charlet Mallett and I am currently getting to know my new hometown of Freeport, Maine. I’ve been married for 24 years and my husband is my biggest champion. We have three amazing boys (10, 18, 20). My family keeps me happy and very busy. My day career has provided awesome opportunities to be creative. I’ve worked the design and paper crafting industry for 21 years and have a professional background in photography, graphic design, product management and product development. Some of my other passions include antiquing, home decorating, gardening, and baking. I am a huge fan of live music, limited edition concert posters, and pie. My love of Stampin’ Up! began in 2002 and started me on this fabulous paper crafting journey. I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for over 10 years (two 5 year stints). I am addicted to card making and love the art of paper crafting. I create often (crafting therapy) and enjoy sharing those creations to inspire others.

With a Bow on Top
Hi, I’m Lou Kitzelman. I live on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia with my husband and creative assistant, Millie the cat. It is on the East Coast and we have a pretty tropical climate. Perfect to hit the Australian beaches. I have been a passionate crafter ever since I can remember. I started doing all sorts of creative things with my Nana as a youngster. We sewed, made copious macramé owls (when they were in the first time!), painted,  made cards and generally got stuck into anything we could. I continued that love of creating into adulthood and now tend to do more paper crafts – the perfect craft for a busy life! I love nothing more than retreating to my craft room and creating. It is my happy place!
